If you're not traveling with a group, you can also participate in the following LA activities and tours.
Lunch at Beachcomber Café: Take your group for a bite to eat at the famous Beachcomber Café on the Malibu Pier. Partake of casual Californian fare — ahi tacos, gazpacho, kobe burgers — and enjoy pristine views of the ocean. Your group will also enjoy Beachcomber’s historic roots. The restaurant was formerly called Alice’s Restaurant, inspired by the Arlo Guthrie song. At the time, major stars like Buster Crabbe and Cesar Romero fished off the pier, and throughout the restaurant you’ll see black and white photos of the stars that have dined here.
Dance Lessons at 3rd Street Dance: Set up a dance class for your group at 3rd Street Dance, an LA landmark. This is where the celebrities competing in the hit show “Dancing with the Stars” rehearse, and its instructors are friendly, helpful and patient.
Downtown Walking Tour: Arrange a walking tour of Downtown LA, home to some of the city’s most stunning architecture. Both Red Line Tours and the Los Angeles Conservancy offer tours, or you can use this self-guided itinerary.
Dodger Game: Bring your group to a quintessential LA experience by catching a Dodgers game at Dodger Stadium, one of the country’s most comfortable ballparks. If a snack is needed, we recommend the famous foot-long “Dodger dogs.” Meanwhile, the stadium’s Martini Bar features creative cocktails with sports-themed drinks like Squeeze Play and Fernandomania.
Historic Hotels: LA is known for its many historic hotels, many of which hosted stars such as Glark Gable, John Wayne, Greta Garbo and Marilyn Monroe. Book your group at one and let them revel in its history.
