LGBT Comedy Nights

In the big city, it pays to have a sense of humor. Check out a tried and true LGBT comedy night or find local talents like Jason Stuart or “After Ellen’s” Bridget McManus, Patricia Villetto and Julie Cohen out on the circuit.

Julie Cohen hosts an open mic on Sundays at the Palms in West Hollywood and in Long Beach also on Sundays, post soaking in the sun, you can check out Laugh a Latte at Hot Java hosted by Carlease. The not so nelly but definitely gay Bruce Daniels hosts Tuesday night's “Drunk on Stage: Comedy with No Inhibitions" at Akbar, which has welcomed famed guests such as TRIPP and Margaret Cho.

1st Wednesday of every month Gays R Us hosted by Erin Foley cracks you up at the Hollywood Improv.

On Thursdays from 8 p.m.–10 p.m., gay Elvis impersonator and comedian Jose Solorio hosts Moonshadow’s open mic night in North Hollywood, another evening that's not to be missed. 2nd Thursday's of the month offer Rainbow comedy night in Ventura and the 3rd Thursday of every month you should hit East West for laughs Hosted by Jenny McNulty.
