Los Angeles is one of the greenest cities in the world, thanks in part to so many eco-friendly businesses and organizations that help promote green initiatives, principles and practices. Even Hornblower Cruises out of Marina Del Rey has taken that extra step to go green with sustainable food, recycling and a carbon offset program.
Green Seal Hotels Hotels like the Westin Bonaventure, shopping boutiques, restaurants, services--in every category, Los Angeles businesses are going green. LA INC. The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau features nearly 200 members who have joined the cause for a greener, healthier LA.
Additionally, Hyatt Regency Century Plaza recently instituted a Meet and Be Green Program that encourages guests and planners to make green choices for their meetings including using recycle products, minimizing shipping, printing locally and selecting local seasonable foods when possible, among other things. They will even help guests and planners with the inside line on where to find all the green things they need.
