To enter the ride, you'll walk through a massive 36'-wide Krusty head, whose gigantic outstretched tongue is like the red carpet at the Oscars. After all, it is an honor to see Krusty in his full glory. There's enough stuff inside Krusty's head to keep you busy, but you won't want to miss the carnival midway, complete with Krusty games, snack stands and original Simpsons videos.
Once you board one of the 24 separate motion simulation "Krusty Mobiles," you'll get catapulted into Krustyland and the whirlwind, six-minute ride starts. What can I say about Krustyland? It has rides called "Radioactive Man-The Ride" and the "Tooth Chipper Rollercoaster." Need I say more, dudes? You'll also see some 30 characters, including Apu, Chief Wiggum, Milhouse and Moe. If you're not doubling over in laughter, you'll be screaming at all the ups and downs, stomach-churning action and crazy characters.
The fun doesn't end when the ride does. A fully operational Kwik-E-Mart — complete with Krusty-O's cereal, giant pink donuts and a smorgasbord of Simpsons memorabilia — has already opened up next door to the ride. You can get authentic Simpsons squishees, too.
When all is said and done, The Simpsons have become literally larger than life. If you want to check it out before you go, visit Krustyland's website, www.simpsonsride.com.
