Awards Season arrived in Los Angeles last month, and Hollywood’s A-list crowded red carpets at the hottest venues to celebrate! Jessica Biel, Charlize Theron and Michelle Williams attended an event hosted by W Magazine at Chateau Marmont to celebrate the Best Performances issue and the Golden Globes. Audi hosted a Golden Globes party at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood with The CW’s Jessica Lowndes and Kat Graham on hand to enjoy the night. Demi Lovato performed at The People’s Choice Awards the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, and Miley Cyrus, Lea Michele and Ian Sommerhalder greeted fans from the red carpet.

Screen stars Julia Roberts, Hillary Swank and Orlando Bloom attended the Cinema for Peace event to benefit the J/P Haitian Relief effort, hosted by Sean Penn at the Montage Beverly Hills. Penn also stopped into Hyde last month, joining top nightlife promoter, Michael Utsinger, at the recently redesigned lounge in West Hollywood. Actor Patrick Dempsey and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher, C.J. Wilson attended the McLaren Beverly Hills launch event with music by DJ Lindsay Luv and CariDee English.

The Art of Elysium’s 5th Annual Heaven Gala brought Kirsten Dunst, Amber Heard and Minka Kelly to Union Station for the charity event. Stylish celebs Emma Stone and Ashlee Simpson ruled the red carpet in vintage glamour at the Shrine Auditorium for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Wednesday February 1:
Westside hotspot, The Churchill, is the perfect place to grab a midweek drink with friends. Thursday February 2:
Celebrate Wilmer Valderrama’s 32nd birthday at Greystone Manor with special guest DJ Reggie Bush. SBE and The Alliance recently teamed up to launch Greystone Manor Supperclub in West Hollywood. The opulent venue is adorned with jeweled chandeliers and plush seating, featuring a delicious menu by Cleo Chef, Daniel Elmaleh, and exquisite specialty cocktails to prime guests for a night on the dance floor. Friday February 3:
Join the crowd on one of the hottest dance floors in Hollywood for Revolution Fridays at supperclub. supperclub is the ultimate performance based dining and nightlife experience. Artists perform to tickle each of the five senses, merging dining, drinking and dancing with a little debauchery, while special guest DJs play a mix of top house and dance tracks. 

Saturday February 4:
Hard to find but worth the hunt, look for The Writers Room behind supperclub in Hollywood. Inspired by the best nightlife in Paris and New York, The Writers Room is an intimate lounge with plush leather seating, craft cocktails and a classic old-Hollywood vibe. Wednesday February 8:
The Fifth is a dressed-up dive bar with a great juke box, billiards and $4 well drink specials, just outside Hollywood in the San Fernando Valley. Helmed by Vintage Bar Group, the team behind Daddy’s and The Well, The Fifth caters to a casual crowd of 20 and 30-somethings looking for an unpretentious night out.
 
Thursday February 9:
Enjoy an award winning selection of wine at Pourtal in Santa Monica. Pourtal is a playground for the wine enthusiast with scheduled tastings or wines by the glass. They also offer a state of the art self service tasting room for curious sippers and casual sampling. The atmosphere blends the sophistication of a traditional wine bar with the casual vibe of the beach community. No reservations are required so swing by for a sip.

Friday February 10:
Hyde is one of the most successful nightlife venues in LA history and SBE recently redesigned the space, adding stylish updates to the décor, a new menu of small plates and inspired specialty cocktails. SBE maintains the intimate atmosphere that draws Hollywood’s A-List with a very tight door, so early arrival and reservations are strongly suggested.

Saturday February 11:
Grammy Award winning producer, Jermaine Dupri hosts the Third Annual Pre-Grammy Event at Playhouse Hollywood. A favorite celebrity hotspot with a VIP lounge on the balcony overlooking the massive main dance floor, Playhouse was recently voted the #4 nightclub in the world. Wednesday February 15:
Find out why almost 1,000 people run off to join the circus every Wednesday at Here Lounge in West Hollywood. Paul Nicholls and Woody Woodbeck present Stripper Circus Wednesdays, with special performances every week and carnival games for cash, prizes and cocktails. Here Lounge is one of the hottest gay nightspots so head there early, doors open at 8PM.

Thursday February 16:
Icon LA hosts Epic Thursdays, the hottest 18+ party Downtown, with special guest DJs playing a mix of hip-hop, dance and top 40 for LA’s college crowd. $10 admission before 10:30 PM with valid college ID. Located directly across from the STAPLES Center, Icon is a sophisticated venue infusing world class talent and entertainment into Downtown LA. Friday February 17:
Catch DJ Daisy O’Dell at The Edison, a Downtown hotspot that celebrates the imagination and invention of the Industrial Era. Daisy works with the top names in music, including Lady Gaga, LCD Soundsystem and Thom Yorke, and she packs the dance floors at LA’s hottest clubs. Don’t miss DJ Daisy O’Dell at The Edison.

Saturday February 18:
Lexington Social House is the perfect spot for dinner and dancing in Hollywood. The décor is a stunning blend of old textures and contemporary art and design. Lexington offers signature dishes by Chef Mette Williams, formerly of Spago Beverly Hills. The outdoor patio is an outdoor bar with an indoor vibe with comfy cocktail seating and a fireplace. Saturday nights head inside for special guest DJs and a packed dance floor.

Wednesday February 22:
Head to Hennessey’s Tavern in Manhattan Beach for Wine Down Wednesdays and enjoy bottles of wine at half-price all night! Hennessey’s is one of the most popular bars in the Coastal Communities area with an energetic crowd, a tasting menu of classic whiskey and bourbon selections and the friendly feel of a traditional Irish pub.

Thursday February 23:
LA is the best city in the world to experience live music. Emerging artists come to LA to break into the spotlight, and Indie Thursdays at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel showcases hot new bands on the verge. Hear new music from singer-songwriters and indie bands and enjoy the menu of small plates and signature cocktails at the Lobby Bar every Thursday at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.

Friday February 24:
Fridays at the Belasco feature three rooms of house, hip hop and Latin music, gorgeous go-go dancers and packed dance floors. Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, the historic Belasco Theater is LA’s newly restored nightlife sensation, with multiple levels of exciting entertainment, award winning sound and a stylish singles crowd.

Saturday February 25:
Retro becomes modern at Page 71 on Saturday nights. Just outside Hollywood in Studio City, Page 71 blends mid-century minimalist décor with a warm, intimate atmosphere. Owner, noted fashion photographer Bryan Suckut, recently redesigned his lounge keeping in mind the glamour of 1950’s and 1960’s and all the pop art of the era that will never go out of fashion. Every night, Page 71 offers something different from cool jazz to top 40 hits, and serves signature cocktails crafted with creativity.
