Canter's Deli

This 24-hour delicatessen has been a Los Angeles tradition since 1931. Everything from bakery sweets (baked fresh twice a day) to stiffly poured cocktails has hooked locals over the years. It pickles its own pickles, bakes its own knishes, and prepares potato salad, egg salad, turkey salad, and coleslaw from scratch. The deli welcomes hungry guests any time of the day, seven days a week (excluding Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur).
