Through surreal airbrushed imagery on unconventional surfaces like synthetic hair and recycled furniture, Monsegue elevates regional subcultures, intertwining memory, seduction, and spirituality. Her works, featuring pop stars and strippers in otherworldly settings, explore Black spiritual life, sexuality, and femininity with haunting allure and divine power.
