Hamlet gets a radical reinvention!

From the producers of the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival, the world premiere of Hamlet (Solus) is an audacious, post-punk theatrical event, starring David Melville, one of LA's most prolific Shakespearean actors. In a virtuoso solo performance, Melville navigates the terrain between grief and humor, offering a deeply personal take on Shakespeare's text, seamlessly blended with original songs and music. Along the way, he re-animates the most famous theatrical skull, Yorick.

This innovative production runs March 6 - April 13 at the Independent Shakespeare Co. Studio in Atwater Village. Plenty of free lot & street parking.
