Artazan Handcraft Market (OPENING DAY)

(ALSO MAY 4) The Artazan Market returns to Pasadena this spring, bringing together a remarkable collection of independent artisans, designers, and makers. Taking place May 3-4 at the Pasadena Convention Center, this vibrant event invites visitors to experience a world where craftsmanship, creativity, and tradition come together in a contemporary celebration of art. Hunt for unique treasures, join in the creativity, or simply soak in the atmosphere with live music, chocolate sampling, wine, and so much more—it's an inspiring experience perfect for spring.
A Celebration of Arts & Crafts in the Heart of Pasadena
The Arts & Crafts movement of the 19th century championed the value of handcraft across all artistic disciplines, celebrating the beauty of materials shaped by human hands. Artazan honors this legacy, bringing together a diverse group of painters, jewelry makers, designers, woodworkers, glassworkers, and ceramists—each dedicated to the originality and craftsmanship of their work.
Pasadena, with its deep roots in the arts and craftsmanship, has long been a beacon of creativity. Its rich history in the arts makes it the perfect setting for Artazan, with an aim to help continue this tradition.
More Than a Market
As you explore the exhibits and watch artists demonstrate their skills, enjoy live music by local classical guitarist Aaron Copenhaguen, adding a vibrant and immersive element to the experience. Attendees can also participate in hands-on workshops, such as plein air painting, and savor chocolates, wines, and specialty foods crafted by artisan purveyors.
