Classic Slam youth poetry competition

Please join Get Lit - Words Ignite for our 11th annual Classic Slam finals! Thousands of poems. Hundreds of youth poets. One community. This is the culmination competition for students in our rigorous In-School Program. In this exciting event, competing school teams are judged by poetic and entertainment luminaries with scholarships awarded to winning teams. The online event will be hosted by actress Ashley August and poet Vanessa Tahay, with music by DJ Franky.

This year, competing poets' performances at Dynasty Typewriter will be streamed LIVE at classicslam.org, so you can tune in from anywhere in the world.
