Los Angeles Tourism At Work - October 2022
Los Angeles is Now Playing
On September 19 Los Angeles Tourism launched a new national advertising campaign, Now Playing. Shot on location at several classic Los Angeles sites, the campaign combines live-action film, music, animation featuring Steve Aoki, and a voiceover from L.A. icon Jenifer Lewis to inspire visitors and locals alike to go a few exits past their comfort zone and lose themselves in the sights, sounds and tastes that provide inspiration to so many.
As part of the official launch, the Global Communications Team teamed up with the new Conrad Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles to host a virtual press conference. 22 media from the United States and Canada attended to learn about the state of tourism in Los Angeles, take a behind the scenes look at the campaign development and learn about the latest offerings in the City of Angels. The team’s pitching efforts resulted in a variety of media coverage including top placement in Adweek.
