Expo! Expo! returns to Los Angeles after 10 years for a premier show filled with educational sessions, an impressive show floor and networking opportunities for over 2,000 attendees

Los Angeles, CA (December 16, 2024)—Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (Los Angeles Tourism) is proud to welcome Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2024 to the Los Angeles Convention Center from December 16-19, 2024. Expo! Expo! is the premier show for the latest industry trends and technology in exhibitions and events and is set to welcome more than 2,000 exhibitions and event professionals from across the globe.

“We are pleased to welcome back IAEE’s Expo! Expo! to Los Angeles,” said Adam Burke, President & CEO, Los Angeles Tourism. “Events like Expo! Expo! allow us to welcome thousands of event professionals and showcase the best of Los Angeles. The City of Angels leads in the breadth of unique experiences it can offer event attendees, and we know that attendees at Expo! Expo! will leave inspired by our city’s vibrant culture, innovation, and hospitality, eager to return and explore more.”

As one of the most significant unseen drivers of our local economy, professional meetings and conventions substantially contribute to employment, local business sales, and tax revenues that provide essential services to all Angelenos. In fact, meetings and conventions generate a remarkable $24 billion in local business sales annually.

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® is the leading association for the global exhibition industry. Today, IAEE represents over 12,000 individuals from over 50 countries who conduct and support exhibitions worldwide. Expo! Expo! will feature three days of educational sessions covering key industry topics, a show floor where attendees can connect with suppliers and engage in interactive learning activations, and networking events throughout.

“We are thrilled to bring Expo! Expo! back to the vibrant, world-class city of Los Angeles,” said IAEE President and CEO Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM. “Its unmatched hospitality, diverse culture and stunning backdrops make it the ideal destination to host our annual event. With global accessibility and premier venues, Los Angeles provides an unparalleled platform for impactful, forward-thinking exhibitions and events. The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) reports that the B2B exhibition industry contributed to $161 billion in business sales and $90 billion in GDP in 2023, in addition to supporting 2.5 million full- and part-time jobs plus self-employed persons. Given that Expo! Expo! is the premier event for this industry, we look forward to tapping into the energy and creativity that make Los Angeles such a dynamic and welcoming destination by offering attendees unique networking, learning, and business development opportunities that drive our industry forward.”

IAEE is committed to four areas of social responsibility: Environmental Sustainability, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Community Relations, and Personal Responsibility. Selecting the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) showcases the commitment to selecting accessible venues for meetings and events. The Los Angeles Convention Center has earned Gold LEED and is committed to reducing our environmental impact.

As the world’s entertainment capital, Los Angeles is always “red carpet ready,” allowing event planners to become producers and bring their creative vision to life. The destination is amid an unprecedented decade of major sporting events, and planners and attendees have the opportunity to experience the host venues that will soon be on the world stage, including the brand-new Intuit Dome (host of NBA All-Star 26), SoFi Stadium (host of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Super Bowl LXI in 2027 and the opening ceremony of the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games), and iconic venues like Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, BMO Stadium, and Rose Bowl Stadium.
