This unusual Running Club gives a whole new meaning to “the human race.” Founded in 2012 by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Craig Mitchell, the Skid Row Running Club is a program that takes the discipline of running and uses it to support and improve the lives of people who are experiencing challenges like homelessness and addiction.
No matter the size of your team, L.A. Works puts together a custom volunteering program that connects them to community groups in need, from the homeless and underprivileged to veterans and many more. Looking for thrills without the 30,000-foot drop? Indoor skydiving at iFLY might be some of the most fun your team can have – no special skills required. Sand, surf and sunsets: the trifecta for an L.A. team-building experience. Aqua Surf School facilitates year-round corporate events and team-building activities (easy to do with more than 300 days of sunshine).
