Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Los Angeles

Though it’s not a legal holiday anywhere in the U.S., St. Patrick’s Day is a festive celebration of Irish and Irish American culture that’s been observed in North America since before the American Revolution. On Monday, March 17 expect to see the traditional color of green splashed across Los Angeles as bars and restaurants offer Irish food, music, and of course plenty of Guinness and Irish whiskey. Read on for St. Patrick’s Day events in Los Angeles, and as always remember to celebrate responsibly.
The following events are 21 and over and take place on March 17 unless otherwise noted.


The Tam O’Shanter
Opened in 1922, the Tam O’Shanter (2980 Los Feliz Blvd, Los Angeles 90039) is known as the oldest restaurant in LA that’s operated by the same family in the same location.
The Tam is hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration from noon till late on Monday, March 17. General Admission is $10 and includes access to the live music tent, with food and drinks available for purchase.
For the full St. Paddy's experience, the $149 VIP Ticket offers a slew of special privileges, inclusive drink and food, and giveaways. Only 75 VIP tickets are available and include:
- Exclusive VIP seating on the patio away from the crowds, limited to 75 people. Tables inside the music tent for VIP guests only.
- Complimentary menu of snacks all day.
- 5 Drink Tickets good for beverages on the patio and in the main entertainment tent ($40 value).
- Exclusive bar on the patio featuring Tullamore Dew and Guinness with hourly $2 drink specials only available to VIP guests.

Pouring With Luck Bar Hop (Mar. 14-17, 2025)
Nightlife collective Pouring With Heart is hosting drink specials at several of its bars all weekend, along with St. Patrick's Day events like Hollywood U2 at Arts District Brewing and a "Leprechaun-thon" at Tony's Saloon.
Seven Grand
Located above the bustling 7th Street corridor, Seven Grand (515 W 7th St #200, Los Angeles 90014) has been Downtown LA's whisk(e)y mecca since 2007. On St. Patrick's Day, 7G is featuring drink specials like Baby Guinness Shots made with Mr. Black and Baileys; frozen Irish Coffees, Irish Mules, $6 Teeling Irish Whiskey shots and $11 pints of Guinness on tap.

Broken Shaker - Freehand (Mar. 15, 2025)
Broken Shaker, the rooftop bar of the Freehand LA (416 W 8th St, Los Angeles 90014), is hosting St. Patrick's Day festivities from 1pm to close on Saturday, March 15. DJ Lani Love will get you into the groove, along with a $15 Fish & Chips special and $14 cocktails:
- Stay Golden - Jameson Black Barrel, honey syrup, lemon
- Paddy's Punch - Jameson Orange, Elderflower Brandy, Peach Bitters, orgeat, lemon
- Clover & Crimson - Jameson Original, raspberry syrup iced tea, lemon, mint

Level 8 (Mar. 13-16, 2025)
Level 8 (1254 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles 90015), the spectacular dining and entertainment complex at AC/Moxy from Houston Hospitality, is transforming two of its rooftop patios, Mother of Pearl and Brown Sheep, into Irish-inspired outdoor drinking spaces. Enjoy green beer, Guinness, Jameson and backyard games like Giant Jenga, Beer Pong and classic pub board games like Connect Four, Checkers and Ring Toss; followed by Leprechaun Wrestling at Sinners y Santos.
Tickets start at $27 and include a welcome cocktail, with table options available.

Angel City Brewery (Mar. 14-17, 2025)
Located in the Arts District, Angel City Brewery (216 Alameda St, Los Angeles 90013) is celebrating St. Patrick's Day all weekend, with DJs spinning Friday-Monday starting at 7pm; and live music on Sunday from 2-6pm. On Monday, wear your best green outfit and start the festivities at 2pm with green beer, music and Irish fare. RSVP at Eventbrite.


St. Patrick's Day Faire - The Cat & Fiddle
Family owned since 1982, The Cat & Fiddle (742 N Highland Ave, Hollywood 90038) is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Guinness and Harp specials (4-6pm) and a burlesque show at 8pm. The kitchen will be open from noon to 10pm, serving up St. Paddy's fare like Corned Beef & Cabbage, the veg-friendly Roasted Cauliflower, Corned Beef Sliders and Guinness Chocolate Cake.

Tom Bergin's
Established in 1936, Tom Bergin's (840 S. Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles 90036) is hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day party from 6am till late. The outdoor tented lot party will feature multiple bars, live bagpipe performance, a DJ spinning all things Irish and more.

The Original Farmers Market
The Original Farmers Market (6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles 90036) celebrates St. Patrick's Day with authentic Irish food, green beer, and Glen the Bagpiper, who will be strolling the Market from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The Market's first eatery, Magee's will be serving their famous corned beef, cabbage and potato plate throughout the day. Green beer, Guinness and other imported Irish beers will be on tap from E.B's and Bar 326.

Randy's Donuts (Through Mar. 17, 2025)
Randy’s Donuts is getting in the spirit of the season with a limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day Donut that’s as festive as it is delicious! STK Steakhouse (Mar. 14-21, 2025)
The signature restaurant of the W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills, STK Steakhouse is offering week-long St. Patrick's Day specials beginning Friday, March 14:

Sonny McClean’s
Sonny McClean’s Irish Pub & Restaurant (2615 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica 90403) is home away from home for Boston sports fans in Los Angeles. Named for owner Jim Conners’ grandfather, Sonny McClean’s features live music, karaoke, a darts room and pool table. To go with the extensive beer list with 40 taps, Sonny McLean's features a full bar and a menu of pub grub, traditional New England and Irish favorites, made with a California touch.
Doors open at 8am on St. Patrick's Day, with live music and performances all day: Woke & Broke Irish Band from noon to 3pm; the Cleary Irish Dancers (3-5pm), Bagpiper (5-6pm) and The Don's Band from 7-11pm.

Los Angeles Ale Works (Mar. 14-17, 2025)
Los Angeles Ale Works is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at its locations in Culver City and Hawthorne with green beer, Irish fusion BBQ, late-night food vendors, live music and DJ sets to close out the night.
Hours for both locations:

- Saturday March 15: noon – 12am

Brennan's (Mar. 14-17, 2025)
A Marina del Rey favorite since 1972, Brennan's (4089 Lincoln Blvd, Marina del Rey 90292) features its famous turtle races every Thursday, with "bets" going to charity. Just remember, no pointing!
Brennan's is going all in for St. Patrick's Day with a three-day festival of green beer, bagpipers and live performances:
- Friday March 14: Two-Steppin’ Into St. Paddy’s with Line Dancing, Live Music and a Shot at Getting Lucky with Coastal Cowboy
- Saturday March 15: Live music feature in collaboration with Saturdays at Seven
- Sunday March 16: Live music featuring The Kicks and East Valley Road along with wrestling from SoCal Pro Wrestling, plus a special Austin 3:16 Beer from El Segundo Brewing Co
