The HSBC LA Sevens is coming to Los Angeles on Feb. 29 - Mar. 1! The two-day event is part of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, an annual series of 10 international rugby sevens tournaments featuring national teams from 16 countries. The US leg of the international series has grown to become one of the most popular stops on the global circuit.

Tickets are now on sale at the LA Sevens website, with options ranging from General Admission (two-day ticket for $140) to the Captain's VIP Lounge, the ultimate VIP Sevens experience priced at $800.

LA Sevens will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park, the home stadium of the LA Galaxy (MLS) and host venue for the rugby sevens matches at the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

The weekend event features the world’s 16 best teams, with more than 40 games providing over eight hours of play on each day. Each game is less than twenty minutes, with fast and intense competition.

The round-robin style tournament includes defending champions USA Eagles Sevens, who are looking to win their third straight title on home soil; reigning Olympic champions Fiji, and current series leaders, New Zealand’s All Blacks Sevens.

An overall champion is crowned at the end of the season based on points accumulated throughout the 10 events, from the opening round in Dubai in November to the final round in Paris in June.

World Rugby CEO Brett Gosper said, "The USA teams will certainly be medal contenders at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which are now less than six months away. We look forward to working closely with Los Angeles, a future Olympic host city, as rugby sevens continues to win new fans and go from strength to strength."
