The Best Los Angeles Nightlife: Jan. 13-19, 2025

For ‘00s revivalists, the weekend of January 18 will be one for the books. Uffie, who unleashed a string of club hits on cult favorite Ed Banger Records during the decade, will co-host A Club Called Rhonda alongside the era’s famed party photographer The Cobrasnake. Uffie will also be amongst the DJs for the party at Los Globos, part of a lineup headlined by DJ/producer Felix da Housecat, who defined the decade’s sound with the monster jam “Silver Screen, Shower Scene.” On Sunday, January 19, CSS, the Brazilian group behind now-classic indie dance tunes like “Alala,” will celebrate their 20th anniversary at Downtown LA’s Regent Theatre.
Earlier this week, Meshell Ndegeocello plays three shows at Lodge Room, two of which have already sold out. On Thursday, Berlin-based Mary Ocher plays her first L.A. show since the pandemic and French duo Jersey, whose raucous, house party-style shows have made them social media stars, head to The Fonda. Influential electro-rock band Braniac will be at The Regent on Friday night, while Arlo Parks plays a one-off show at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Meanwhile, Saturday night’s offerings include Karen y Los Remedios’ stop at the Lodge Room as part of the Mexican band’s first U.S. tour and Mega 96.3 FM presents Calibash at Crypto, with a stacked lineup that includes rising star Xavi, alongside Maluma, Wisin, Manuel Turizo and more.
