The Guide to LAX FlyAway® Bus Service
Non-stop transportation from LAX to DTLA and Van Nuys
The FlyAway® bus service provides frequent non-stop transportation between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and locations at Union Station in Downtown LA and in Van Nuys. FlyAway® buses operate seven days a week and drop passengers off on the Upper/Departures Level of each terminal at LAX. Buses offer free WiFi and charging stations under the seats. There are no restrooms on the bus.
At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal at the blue FlyAway® columns. Each bus is marked with its service location.

FlyAway Union Station
The LAX FlyAway® service operates from Bus Stop 1 at the Patsaouras Transit Plaza at Union Station East (801 N. Vignes St, Los Angeles 90012). Passengers should enter on the Vignes Street side of Union Station. The FlyAway ticket kiosk is on the south end of the plaza near Bus Bay 1. Fare is $9.75 each way. The kiosk accepts major credit cards or debit card to purchase a ticket. Cash is NOT accepted. To save time, purchase your ticket online at the FlyAway website. Parking is available in the garage under the plaza. The entrance is on Vignes. Daily rate is $8 with a 30-day limit.
Private vehicles are no longer allowed to enter the Plaza. They must use the new Passenger Drop-Off/Pick-Up facility which is accessible by entering the underground parking garage through either one of two entrances on Vignes Street. This new pick-up and drop-off area for private vehicles is one level below Patsaouras Plaza — the same level that provides access to trains.
FlyAway Van Nuys
The LAX FlyAway® service operates from the FlyAway® Bus Terminal in Van Nuys (7610 Woodley Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406). One-way fare is $9.75. For the daily schedule, visit the FlyAway Van Nuys page.
Parking is available at the FlyAway® Terminal in the long-term parking lot and parking structure by entering on Woodley Avenue. The daily rate is $2 per hour, up to $5 maximum per day, with a 30-day limit. Passengers can reserve parking at least six hours in advance. All parking areas at the terminal are patrolled regularly by airport security. NOTE: parking can be limited during peak travel periods.
